I've just installed the most recent WJA version 10.5 SR9.  When I attempted a discovery, I found that the option to specify SNMPv3 credentials was not available like it is for earlier versions I've used.  Is there something that now needs to be configured in order for this option to be revealed?

Thank you for reaching out. Regarding your query on New version of JJA does not allow for SNMPv3 to be used that you’re experiencing.


Kindly review the instructions as below :

- were there any recent hardware or software changes

- We at HP do not encourage using 3rd party accessories or devices , hardware upgrades unless advised in any form of hp documentation

I found that once the SNMPv3 account information was submitted in the Device Management\Tools\Options Credentials\Device\SNMPv3 section the option to use SNMPv3 became available when a Discovery was initiated.
