Newly set up hp smart acct not recognized

Set up new HP Tango x Printer using  HP smart  ipad  app. the initial setup inputting user name PW etc  i could not set up account. I went to HP website input same, and dashboard ,appears, it recognized printer, did print alignment etc. However  when then on dashboard and try to print and in input user name ,PW  it goes to gibberish not recognized.  The HP customer support is unavailable..????? Any suggestions

Are you trying to print from the HP Smart app but not able to log in?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Also, check for any software updates on the iPad

You may use the Airprint option to print. Print documents, photos, and web pages from iPhone and iPad apps with a print feature.

1. Make sure the printer is turned on, cartridges are installed, and the paper you want to print on is loaded in the correct paper tray.

2. Open the item you want to print, and then tap the Share icon ( or ).

3. Tap Print or the Print icon .

4. Select your printer, and then change print settings such as paper size, number of copies, or page range. Available settings depend on the app you are printing from, the print job type, and your printer.

5. Tap Print.
