I had an HP 4630 printer - this had an icon in Task bar for easy access to print/scan/inks etc
Today I removed all HP s/w and installed a 7007 Smart Tank
Followed all necessary instructions for installing via APP then added it to W11 PC
There is no Task bar icon for HP Smart or the scanner app etc. Nor anything icon on desktop.
Should there be, or can I add one ?

Click the windows key and list the applications. Look for "HP": The bright blue icon at the top is the new HP App that takes the place of HP Smart
If you do not see a list then select LIST instead of catagory.

I hear you!
A squeaking wheel is the only one that gets the oil.
Bring up the HP app and go to your profile and click the feedback button. You may have to sign in.
Windows has a feedback hub. You enter "feedback" in the search bar at the bottom.
