My newly installed sequoia, 15.3 does not see my three year old HP color LaserJet pro M479 printer. It seems as though there is no driver from HP, which we need immediately! Please create it.

Hi @granmar, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479dw supports Apple AirPrint, which allows printing from iOS devices without the need for additional drivers.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Ensure Both Devices Are on the Same Network:
- Verify that your iOS device and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Check Printer's AirPrint Compatibility:
- Confirm that AirPrint is enabled on your printer.
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings to ensure AirPrint is active.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up-to-date.
- Visit HP's official support page to download and install the latest firmware for your printer model.
Restart Devices:
- Power off and then restart both your printer and iOS device to refresh their connections.
Reset Network Settings:
- On your printer, reset the network settings and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
- On your iOS device, you can reset network settings by navigating to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Test Printing:
- Open a document or photo on your iOS device.
- Tap the "Share" icon and select "Print."
- Choose your HP printer from the list and initiate the print job.
