Product: Envy 6400 MFC
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I just setup a new printer and after three hours of going in circles dodging all sales attempts to join HP Smart cloud, I am still unable to find out how to scan or copy from my Envy 6400 printer. I don't want on the cloud, I just want to scan and copy and print my simple Photos!  Is this printer capable off doing so?

Is the printer connected to the same Network as your Mac?
