Dear friends,

I'm trying to install the Pro 7730 all in one printer.

With wireless funtion on at the printer I can print direct from my iphone, no problem.

webserver HP7730.jpg

When I add in the chrome browser the IP xxx.xxx.xxx.28 of the WIFI of the printer I get Web Server of the printer.

When connected the printer direct on the (wifi)router and add in the chrome browser the IP xxx.xxx.xxx.29 of the printer I get Web Server of the printer.

When I follow the instuction software, I can install the printer, but direct I see a message "there is no driver installed"

So, in an WORD document I don't see the printer.

Anybody an idea how to solve this?

Greetings,

André

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

It sounds like an issue with the printer driver installed on your computer. Use the method below to remove all existing printer drivers from your computer:

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.)  Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder first and then HP folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once the drivers are removed, download and install the printer software and driver available here

Let me know how it goes!
