I recently purchased an HP Office Jet Pro 8138e printer from Costco FV  as my previous printer had stopped working. Since I had some urgent paperwork to complete and print that night, I rushed to make the purchase.

However, to my surprise, the printer did not come with a power cord. I am unsure if this is the current industry standard, as my previous HP printer did not have this issue. Without a power cord, I am unable to complete the setup of my new printer, which has caused me some inconvenience.

I was initially overwhelmed by this unexpected situation, as I had not anticipated such a basic component to be missing. Nevertheless, I am hopeful that this issue can be resolved promptly. Letting the customer is a new policy or be aware to but a power cord.

Likely someone returned one at Costco without the cord, go back to Costco and exchange it. All printers come with a cord.

Same here. Bought this at houston galleria Costco. No power cord. This is outrageous.
