Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

A HP DeskJet Plus 4140 printer was given to me without the setup cartridges. I bought new cartridges and put them in according to the instructions, but the printer still will not work. can anyone please help me with this dilemma.

Hi @Tina1977 

 

try the following :

1) turn on the printer.
2) Open the cover to change the cartridges.
3) with the cartridges in place press the Wi-fi button for 10 sec.
4) close the cartridges cover, wait for the printer to come to sleep and try to print.
