HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer

I have been using the same Black ink cartridge successfully including this morning however this afternoon I was unable to print as the printer advised that the "cartridges have been blocked by the printer firmware because they contain non-HP Chip".    I thought that the government won the case for all of us Users that printer manufacturers needed to allow other ink cartridges to be used in their printers?  Note, I replaced the Black ink cartridge with another cartridge and receive the same message.    This case was across the board and included EPSON, HP, etc.

How do I get these present ink cartridges to work?
