Hello, yesterday all of a sudden, my system denied camera access to the browser even though all the permissions were on. Later camera driver was found missing and the camera app showed this error: 0xA00f4244. Then on the suggestion of the HP center, I uninstalled the camera driver from the device manager and tried to reinstall it from HP support- software & drivers. But the webcam driver is missing for my computer on the list of drivers in hp support.
I tried uninstalling the antivirus software and installing the driver from third-party sites but none of the methods worked.
Kindly suggest me with a proper solution to this issue.

Hi @Cosmicthinker ,

This problem originates because windows often recognizes the Webcam as a USB device, this webcam does not need driver is assigned by windows, then in some windows update, remove the driver and enter it again but as a USB device.

I indicate you the steps maybe at first it does not work but I tried several times.

Go to device Manager, then click on Universal Bus Controllers, and uninstall all USB drivers, then restart the computer. If this does not work in Device Manager click on the menu “View” and then show hidden devices, if it shows you the webcam, click on the driver and indicate to update, in the next window select “Browse my computer...” and then “Choose from the list...” you should see “USB Video Device” select that one and restart the computer at the end of the installation. .
