Hi @ShalabhKhare
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you're having trouble scanning with your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage Ultra 4926 Printer. Dont worry I'll be glad to help you get this working.
To better understand the issue, could you kindly share a few details?
- Are you trying to scan from the HP app, Windows Scan, or directly from the printer?
- Do you receive any error message while scanning? If yes, what does it say?
- Is the printer connected via Wi-Fi or USB?
- Are you able to print successfully from the printer?
In the meantime, kindly try the below steps and confirm :
- Restart the printer and your computer.
- Ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer if using Wi-Fi.
- Open the HP app and check if the printer shows as "Ready."
- Run the HP Smart Diagnose & Fix tool within the HP App application.
- Update or reinstall the HP app:
- Remove the existing HP app.
- Restart the computer.
- Install the latest version from the Microsoft Store or HP website.
- Try scanning using the Windows Scan application to check if the issue is specific to HP App .
- If using USB, disconnect and reconnect the cable to a different USB port.

This can be caused by a network communication issue, missing scanner drivers, or an incomplete printer installation.
I hope this helps.
