HP ENVY 6052 All-In-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows 10 64 bit. HP Envy 6052 will not print black lettering from MS Word 2010. I have looked for additional drivers and reloaded HP Smart app a few times. PDF will print black lettering although it is light. Cartridge is 1/3 full and original with printer. Cartridges are clean, diagnostics turned up nothing.

@ijmac

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,  I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from HP Smart, and then evaluate the results.

  1. Make sure your device is on the same wireless network as your printer.

  2. Open HP Smart, and then select your printer, if it is not already selected.

  3. Under Tools, click Printer Reports.

  4. Next to Print Quality Report, click Print. A Print Quality Diagnostic report prints.

Examine the color blocks on the Print Quality Diagnostic page to make sure the color blocks are not streaked, faded, or missing.

Example of the color blocks without defects

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
