I switched from ATT Air router to Frontier Fiber EERO router.  Now my IPhone will not send data to the router in order to print wirelessly.  My computer and wife’s iPhone does work fine when sending for printing, so I know the router to printer interface is correct.  My phone is in the Frontier router with correct password as it works fine for internet access.  Not sure where to go for this, Frontier and HP and the geek squad were not helpful!   Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Hi @FroggFann,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're facing issues with printing from your phone after changing your router. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the problem:

Verify Network Connection

Ensure Both Devices Are on the Same Network: Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same network as the printer. Review the Wi-Fi settings on both your phone and printer to confirm they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Reconnect the Printer: If the printer was previously set up on a different network, you may need to reconnect it to the new Wi-Fi network. You can do this by performing the setup process again using your printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app.

Clear and Reset Settings

Reset Network Settings: Reset the network on your printer. You may need to consult your printer's specific manual to find the steps on how to reset the network settings.

Re-add Printer to Your Device: Go to your phone's settings and try re-adding the printer. You can usually find this option under Settings > Printing or Settings > Advanced Settings > Printing.

Printer Setup Mode

If using the HP Smart app:

Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode on Printer: If your printer isn't found, you might need to restore Wi-Fi setup mode on it. This is typically done by pressing specific buttons on the printer for a few seconds (refer to the printer's manual for details).

Add Printer in HP App: Use the HP Smart app to re-add the printer within 2 hours of restoring Wi-Fi setup mode.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.
