Deskjet 2755

My DeskJet 2755's warranty is expiring next week and nothing works in the printer. I can't print,copy scan, I tried resetting through the control panel of the printer, hp smart, downloaded the drivers again. None of the buttons in the printer works for resetting with WI FI direct WPS pin. I tried printing with USB connection. Even that doesn't work.  The control panel seemed to be stuck. Got a suggestion from Hp support to take cartridges off and the control panel still shows the cartridge is in there, which makes me think the control panel is not reflecting the issues of the printer?  They asked me to check my instaink and contact them for this issue although there was no issue with the ink, to begin with. There is no payment issues in fact I got my refills for this month.

I understand your concerns and frustrations

 

Please try these steps

 

- Turn on the printer.

- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

- Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.

- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.

- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.

- Wait at least 60 seconds.

- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.

- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

- The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

- Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

- Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.

- If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.

 

Also try downloading the printer Firmware from HP Website by connecting the printer through USB https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
