OCR with laser jet MFP M477

I have been using my laser Jet MFP M477 for years with scanning to searchable PDF.  Just upgraded to new computer and downloaded the HP drivers and software.  It seems the software now does not include OCR?  How do I get the functionality back (scan to searchable PDF) that originally came with my purchase?

Hi,

Here's what you need to do:

1. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
2. Restart the PC
3. Close all programs
4. download only this complete package: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477 Printer Series PCL 6 v3 Full Solution and
5. download only Readiris Pro
6. Close all programs
7. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the File name: HP_Color_LJ_Pro_MFP_M477-PCL_6_v3_Full_Soln_22046.exe (106.1 MB)
8. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
9. Restart the System again
10. now extract the zip, file name: Readiris14ProHPWin.zip (381.8 MB)
11. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the setup.exe
12. Restart the System again
13. Now the installation is complete.
