macOS 10.15 Catalina

Unable to use any of my printers since upgrading to OS Catalina. Paying for Instant Ink not able to use. Come on HP sort this out or will be cancelling my ink subscription and moving to another manufacturer. Not a great experience.

Hi,
Please follow HP Easy Start to ensure your drivers are up to date:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

While the HP Easy Scan app is not currently supported on Catalina, any other component as the printer driver or scanning via Image Capture should work just fine on Catalina.

 

If you experience any issues, please clarify the exact error or behavior you experience.

Upgraded to Catalina. Uninstalled and reinstalled my printers.  All firmware and drivers up to date on my 2 Z3200s. 

 

All kinds of odd problems- bad color, sheets printing partially, sheets printing a solid color, the red print queue badges on the printer icons remaining after queue is finished.

 

Extensive search for solutions online bears no fruit.

 

My printers are just old enough for HP to not offer any kind of support on them, period. Even paid tickets. 

  

I'm wiping my hard drive and reinstalling Mojave.
