Odd happenings with printer

Printer prints out odd pages when idle. i.e. Network configuration pages, print alignment pages & empty pages. It wants to know how many copoies you wnat to print. When you put it to sleep it comes to life after a couple of minutes. At the moment its asking me to enter fax number. This morning the language had changed to Spanish for some reason. Have reinstalled the firmware for bot printer and scanner. Anyone any ideas

Two ideas:

Catastrophically and spectacularly broken.

The wireless password is made public and someone is messing with you.

You left Wi-Fi Direct switched on and someone connected to it - and is messing with you.
