Hi @OldHairbag,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To enable single-sided printing for your HP OfficeJet 9125e on a Mac using Microsoft Word, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Document

  1. Open the document you want to print in Microsoft Word.

Step 2: Open the Print Dialog

  1. Click File in the menu bar.
  2. Select Print or press Command + P to open the Print dialog.

Step 3: Select Your Printer

  1. Ensure your HP OfficeJet 9125e is selected as the printer.

Step 4: Access Printer Settings

  1. In the Print dialog, click on the Show Details button if it is not already expanded.

Step 5: Change Print Settings

  1. In the expanded Print dialog, look for the drop-down menu that typically defaults to Copies & Pages or Layout.
  2. Click this drop-down menu and select Printer Features or Print Settings (the exact option might vary depending on the printer driver).

Step 6: Enable Single-Sided Printing

  1. Look for an option labeled Duplex Printing or Two-Sided.
  2. Set this option to Off or Single-Sided.

Kindly find the next set of steps in the next post.

Hi @OldHairbag,

Please find the next set of steps below.

Step 7: Save the Settings and Print

  1. Once you have adjusted the settings, click Print to print your document single-sided.

Optional: Save Single-Sided as Default (Optional)

If you often need to print single-sided and want to set it as the default, you can save these settings:

  1. In the Print dialog, after setting single-sided printing, click on the Presets drop-down menu.
  2. Select Save Current Settings as Preset.
  3. Give the preset a name (e.g., "Single-Sided Printing") and click OK.
  4. Next time you print, you can select this preset to quickly apply the single-sided setting.

By following these steps, you should be able to print single-sided documents using your HP OfficeJet 9125e from Microsoft Word on your Mac.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Thank. you for the effort,  but didn't work.  The "Layout" menu does not show either duplex of single-sided, the closest is "sheets per page". That is checked at "1".   The printer shows as  "9120e series"
