Hi @Andy-H ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your wife’s iPhone is printing everything twice on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8024e, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check for Duplicate Print Jobs

  • Multiple Printer Connections: Ensure that only one printer is connected on the iPhone. Sometimes, if the same printer is listed multiple times (e.g., via Wi-Fi and AirPrint), it can cause double printing.
  • Go to Settings > Wi-Fi on the iPhone and ensure the correct printer is selected.

2. Restart the Printer and iPhone

  • Power off both the printer and the iPhone, then power them back on. This can help resolve temporary issues with communication between the devices.

3. Check the Printing App

  • If you are using the HP Smart app to print, try uninstalling and reinstalling it on the iPhone to make sure the app is working correctly.
  • Ensure that any printing settings within the app (such as double-sided printing or specific print formats) aren’t causing the duplication.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure the printer firmware is up-to-date. You can check for updates by going to the printer's Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer.

5. Check Printer Settings

  • Make sure there are no settings in the printer itself, like duplex printing (double-sided printing), enabled by default for every print job.

6. Reset Network Settings

  • If the printer and iPhone are connected to Wi-Fi, you might want to reset the printer’s network settings and reconnect it to the Wi-Fi. This can help if the issue is related to network communication.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
