HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer

My Printer HP OfficeJet 4650 warranty expired 2019 but I have been using up until July 2023...I stopped using it because of a move. Now I want to use but can't tell if it will continue to work. I was enrolled in HP Instant Ink. When I moved and disconnected printer; that caused ink to disengage. Should I try to re-enroll or what?

If your HP OfficeJet 4650 printer was enrolled in HP Instant Ink and you stopped using it for a period, you may need to re-enroll in the HP Instant Ink program to ensure that the ink cartridges are properly recognized and that you receive new cartridges as needed.

Here are Troubleshooting steps you can take:

 

Reconnect the Printer:

  • Reconnect the printer to power and set it up in your new location.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted and that there are no errors or issues with them. If the cartridges were removed during the move, reinsert them carefully.

Connect to the Internet:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. This is crucial for HP Instant Ink to work properly.

Check Instant Ink Subscription:

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account on the HP Instant Ink website. Check the status of your subscription and make sure it is active. If it's expired, you may need to renew it.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check for any firmware updates for your printer on the HP support website and update the firmware if necessary. Firmware updates can improve the printer's performance and compatibility.
