I am encountering an issue while attempting to install the HP EasyStart drivers for my OfficeJet 8022e printer. I specifically prefer using EasyStart over HP Smart, particularly for its superior scanner functionality.
Issue Description: After successfully detecting and selecting my printer in the EasyStart installation process, the setup appears to begin normally with a loading screen. However, after a few moments, the window turns completely white. At this point, it becomes unclear whether the installation is still progressing or has frozen.
System Configuration:
- Printer Model: HP OfficeJet 8022e
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Installation Method: HP EasyStart Driver Package
Steps to Reproduce:
- Download HP EasyStart driver package
- Launch the installer
- Printer is successfully detected on the network
- Select the printer
- Setup begins loading
- Screen turns white and remains in this state
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on whether this is normal behavior and I should simply wait longer, or if there are specific troubleshooting steps I should follow to resolve this issue.
Has anyone else experienced similar behavior with the EasyStart installation? If so, how did you resolve it?

I wanted to provide a quick update regarding the HP EasyStart installation issue I reported earlier. The problem has been successfully resolved by using a different installer package. Specifically, downloading and running "HPEasyStart_16_7_5.exe" instead of "HPEasyStart-13.6.5-OJP8020_49_11_4670_1_Webpack.exe" resolved the white screen issue and allowed for a successful installation. The installation completed without any further complications.
