I have an OfficeJet 9730 and I keep trying to update the printing preferences to turn off the 2-sided printing but it won't save.  I turn it off or mare it as none to for the flip, click apply then save.  Go back in and it is like I didn't do anything.  How to I get this to turn off and actually save my preferences?

-- The following is relevant to supported versions of Windows --

There are several places to check / adjust Printing Preferences.

For example...

1)  EWS - Set the Default Print Options to Single-side

2)  Install the full driver printer software to gain access to the full range of Printing Preferences

Web Pack Installation - Web Page - Download / Information

HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 Series EasyStart Printer Setup Software - Offline Use Only

      Download / Save / Install

       Restart computer and sign in

3)  Open Printing Preferences → Check / Adjust the preferred Shortcut to General Everyday Printing

4)  Open Printer Properties -- Tab Advanced

      A)  Check / Adjust  → Driver = the installed HP driver and not the IPP / Microsoft driver

      B)  Scroll down in Tab Advanced → Select Printing Defaults  → Select Shortcut =

5)  Ensure you and not Windows are in control of the Default Printer assignment

6)  Before you submit the job, recheck / Adjust the print settings in your job configuration
