HP Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Everyone,

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 and the problem i have is the home/back/? button does not lit up anymore after i reset it yesterday through the screen. The screen itself works and shows me the message about "Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink". The cartridges i have is from HP Instant Ink but the problem here is the option button (home/back/?) does not lit up and the screen doesn't respond to swipes or push.

Also when i open the access door the cartridges doesnt move to me. I do see the animation video coming up on the control screen showing the cartridges will move to be accessible to remove them but they just dont move.

The wifi LED is blinking at this moment. I had it setup and working before i reset this device from control panel

Help please!

Hi @aio8610,

I'd like to help!

Wireless light indicates that the printer is not connected to network, please connect the printer to the network.

  1. On the printer, select Restore Network Settings (or similar) from the Wireless , Settings , or Restore Settings menu.

  2. Get the network name (SSID) and password. Go to Finding Your Wireless Password for more information.

  3. Select Wireless Setup Wizard from the Wireless, Settings, or Network Setup menu, and then select your network name and enter the password.

As you have instant ink cartridge issue, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
