I have just bought an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e and am setting up the scanning which is the key feature I will be using. I am doing everything using HP defaults. However, now that it is complete, the printer seems to think I am only dealing with photos and appears to only have a WIA aquisition standard and not TWAIN as well. I can sort of scan and save in pdf but this is not good enough as I want to import pdfs as well and the software doesn't "see" these types of documents when I search amongst my folders. Similarly, when using Orpalis PaperScan software which is my preferred interface for scanning, it seems to confirm that only WIA is available with the printer and not TWAIN. Any assistance would be appreciated.
