The "verify" error on your HP OfficeJet 8022e can likely be resolved through a series of troubleshooting steps. Follow this guide to help you get your printer back in working order:
Check Ink Cartridges
- Check the Ink Cartridge Numbers:
- Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
- Wait until the ink carriage stops moving.
- Check the cartridge labels and compare them with the compatible cartridge numbers for your printer model.
Reset the Printer
- Turn the printer off:
- Press the power button and turn the printer off.
- Unplug the printer:
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait:
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect:
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
- Turn the printer on:
- Press the power button to turn the printer back on.
Update Printer Firmware
