Hello @Bmac8280, and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

Here are a few steps and alternatives you can try:

Option 1: Use macOS Preview App to Resize and Print Photos

  1. Open the photo in the Preview app (default macOS image viewer).
  2. Go to Tools > Adjust Size to resize the image as needed.
  3. Then go to File > Print.
  4. In the print dialog:
    • Choose your HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer.
    • Use the Scale option to adjust the size.
    • Select Paper Size and Orientation.
    • Enable Borderless printing if desired.

This method gives you more control over the print layout than the HP Smart app currently does.

Option 2: Use HP Easy Start or HP Utility (macOS)

HP Utility may offer more advanced print settings:

Download HP Easy Start for macOS from the official HP site: HP OfficeJet 200 Drivers & Software for macOS

After installation, open HP Utility and check for photo print options under Print Settings.

Option 3: Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart App

If resizing options are missing due to a bug or app issue:

  1. Open the HP Smart app.
  2. Click your printer > go to Diagnose & Fix.
  3. Let it run and follow any suggested fixes.

Use Diagnose & Fix in the HP app to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support

Additional Notes

Make sure your printer firmware is up to date:
HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer - Troubleshooting | HP® Support

Borderless printing is supported up to 127 x 177 mm (5 x 7 inches), so ensure your photo size matches supported dimensions.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
