I had to reinstall my printer, used tha basic driver  OJ3830_Basic64 119 , the only that exists on hp support site, but had problems, the printer doesn't work, it is connected via wireless. Tried also OJ3830_Full_webpack 1119 with no success.

Is it possible to find an old driver? Is a windows problem?

thanks, Tommaso

I accept the non solution, that should be given by hp with a worrking driver. I , as ex hp employee continue to buy hp printers, but I'm not satisfied any more.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting HP.

As I get the issue, you are unable to print in color from the PC.

The Color options are there on the Software.

Please try the steps below:-

Go to Control Panel > Printers> Select the Printer Icon, Right click and go to Printing Preferences.

The Printing Preferences page will pop up.

Go to the Paper/Quality Tab.

Locate for a Dropdown "Print in Grayscale" > Select Off, Do not leave at black or grayscale.

Press Ok.

Now try to print and check the results.

Alternatively you may install a new Application which is known as HP Smart and it is available at the below link:-

https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/p/hp-smart/9wzdncrfhwlh?rtc=1&activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Once you install this application, you can Print/Scan using the same.

For further assistance please reply to the same.

Hi, I have already made almost all the things suggested. The printer worked well before I uninstalled and reinstalled it using the driver in     https://support.hp.com/it-it/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-3830-all-in-one-printer-series/7172321...

and also you can read this driver is for professional only, (why?)

I  think it's a driver problem. What do you think?

Hi,

Thank  you for replying.

Yes it could be a driver issue, however HP has launched the HP Smart Software which is compatible with almost all recent printers.

I would recommend you to Install HP Smart and add the printer via it.

Once installed check printing.

You can also Scan using HP Smart.
