HP Officejet 4215 All-in-One Printer

I have a laptop with Windows 11.  My Officejet 4215 All in One Scanning is not working.  The printing does work even though it says Driver Unavailable.  So where do I find the driver to have the scanner working again.  Since the HP print and scan doctor doesn't work?

Hi @Res00,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your Officejet 4215 printer is working but the scanner is not, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check the connections: Make sure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a USB connection, ensure that the cable is securely connected to both the printer and your computer. If it's a wireless connection, check that your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Restart the printer: Try restarting the printer by turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This can sometimes help to resolve issues with the scanner.
  • Update the drivers: Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can usually find these on the manufacturer's website or through your operating system's updates.
  • Check for software conflicts: Sometimes other software on your computer can interfere with the scanner. Try closing any unnecessary applications or temporarily disabling your antivirus software to see if this resolves the issue.
  • Reset the printer: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the printer to its default settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
