Solution center not loaded properly: no commands, no iconsSolution center not loaded properly: no commands, no iconsPlease help me.

Since today, 24-3-2020, 'solution center' of my HP Officejet 4500 G510 does not load properly.
I've uninstalled-reinstalled the software from the orig. CD and from the HP site support.
But still 'solution center' does not load properly (does not show all icons, commands etc.).
Thank you for your help.
Emanuele

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Let us attempt to uninstall the printer drivers from the root level and then reinstall them. The following steps will help:

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • You may click here to download and install the drivers.
  • You may download and install the printer drivers from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Officejet-4500-All-in-One-Printer-Series---G510/... Once the drivers are installed successfully, you may attempt to scan using the HP Solution Center.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

@EmaxSale

Thank you for posting back.

Use one of the following methods to check for and open Solution Center.

Click the Solution Center icon on the desktop to open the software. Depending on your version, the icon might be black or blue.

Search Windows for your printer: If the icon is not on the desktop, search Windows for your printer model name, then click your printer in the list of results to open Solution Center.

  • If you cannot find the Solution Center, download and install the full feature driver for your printer on your computer.

  • If HP Printer Assistant opens, you have a printer released after 2010 that no longer supports Solution Center. Printer Assistant replaced Solution Center and provides similar printer settings and management features.

HP Printer Assistant replaced HP Solution Center for printers in 2011 and later. HP Printer Assistant installs with the full feature print driver and provides similar functionality to HP Solution Center.
