Officejet 4630

My printer Officejet 4630 worked very well until I changed my internet provider. The printer accepts the SSID but doesn't accept the password of the wifi. All other PC and smartphone in the house work well. The new SSID is TISCALI_FE2E, is it possible that this name doesn't work well? Tonight I tried with a mobile wifi SSID VodafoneMobileWiFi-737314 and all went perfectly ad my first attempt. Thank you for all suggestions. Good night.

Hi @Robertigno

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the connectivity issue.

To better assist you - Are you using a dual band router? If yes, make sure the dual band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.

While you respond to that, try these steps -

Step 1 Network Restore -

1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status menu.
2. Press the button next to Settings to access the Wireless
Settings menu.
3. Select Restore Defaults.
4. Confirm the selection to restore defaults.

Step 2 Reboot the devices -

1. Turn off the Router, Printer, and the computer.

2. Wait for 60 seconds.

3. Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.

4. Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.

5. Turn on the computer.

Step 3 Run Wireless Wizard -

1. Press the Wireless button from the printer control panel, and then select Settings.
2. Scroll to select Wireless Setup Wizard, and then press OK.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the wireless connection.

If the issue still persists, connect a USB cable from the printer to the computer and try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
