Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Trying to help my sis. She has an Officejet 5212. She cancelled the "Instant Ink" and the printer will not let her use the printer with the ink she has now. Can she buy regular HP ink or another aftermarket ink to make it work? Is there anything she needs to do other than replace the ink cartridges? She is getting an error saying something like, cannot print as you cancelled your Instant Ink. Thanks for any help.

Once you cancel the Instant ink plan the cartridges received with the plan can't be used. Store-bought cartridges will probably solve the problem.

"Probably"?? I would like to make sure it is going to work before paying the high price for them. Thanks!
