New problem.  Error message:

"One or more components of the HP printing software are corrupted or missing. The print job cannot be completed. To fix this situation, HP recommends reinstalling the print driver software."

I deleted printer from System Preferences/Printer and reinstalled latest driver from HP: 5.1 dated August 4, 2020. Install was "successful",

The Utility says status is Idle; it aligns and cleans heads, and prints test pages afterward and shows the printer's supply status. Yet, when trying to print from Word or the web, I get the message above.

The printer is wired to the networked as is my Mac.

The solution is to download (and install) this package which will update drivers AND THE CERTIFICATE:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...

Easy Admin did nothing. Easy Startup did nothing. 5.1 drivers did nothing. This worked for me!

If this solved your issue, please thumbs up and mark as solved!
