I understand your HP OfficeJet 9010 is not working with macOS 26.2. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Use AirPrint instead of HP drivers
The OfficeJet 9010 is designed to work with macOS using Apple AirPrint.
When adding the printer, make sure the driver shows as “AirPrint,” not HP or Generic.

Remove and re-add the printer
Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners and remove the OfficeJet 9010.
Restart the Mac, then add the printer again using the “+” option.

Reset the macOS printing system
In Printers & Scanners, right-click (or control-click) in the printer list and choose “Reset printing system.”
This clears old or incompatible printer configurations after a macOS update.

Confirm Mac and printer are on the same network
Check the Wi-Fi name on the Mac and the printer.
Both must be on the same network and not on guest or isolated Wi-Fi.

Restart network and printer
Power off the router, printer, and Mac for 1–2 minutes.
Turn the router on first, then the printer, and finally the Mac.

Check printer firmware
From the printer control panel or HP Smart app, verify the printer firmware is up to date.
Firmware updates improve compatibility with newer macOS versions.

Try adding the printer by IP address
Print a network configuration page from the printer to find its IP address.
Add the printer using the IP option and select AirPrint as the protocol.

Test with a wired connection (if available)
If the printer supports Ethernet, connect it directly to the router.
This can bypass wireless discovery issues introduced by macOS updates.
