My printer stopped scanning so I decided to reinstall it (it never printed properly either, I've had to email documents to the printer in order to print them, but that's another story).
I believe I have uninstalled it properly, but when I reinstall the driver the installation keeps running in circles, returning to the printer network connect screen each time after I have confirmed the network & IP address and the signal. It never gets to "Step 3."
The only way to stop this cycle is to go into the task manager and end the process tree. Then I have to go back and uninstall everything again even though it never completed the installation.

Thank you!
The printer is now reinstalled and can scan again. Unfortunately, the application can't resolve my earlier printing issue. At least, that what it's telling me. I suspect when Windows 10 was installed some little bit of software was corrupted, because it worked fine in Windows 7.
