Product: HP OFFICEJET PRO 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just purchased a Officejet pro 6978. It did not come with a driver disk. When I download the driver on the HP site it defaults to the driver for an Officejet pro 6970. The 6970 will not work with my printer! Please help! Where can I get the correct driver?

HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

 

All the printers in this series (Officejet Pro 697x) use the same "full" driver.

This is normal.

 

Full Feature Software for your printer:

HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories

 

If the software is not working, it is for a different reason.

 

If you have not done so, consider updating the Firmware

 

If you need help, describe the error, issue, problem.
