Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Good day, i have inquiry about my printer HP OffiveJet Pro 7740. #[Personal Information Removed]. I want to set a password to this printer so if there is anyone want to use it he/she have to insert the password but i did not find any option to add password. could you please guide me how i add a password to this printer

I understand that you want to set a password for the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue and then setup the printer again to set  the password.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
