Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Due to an HP error recently "We unintentionally revoked credentials on some older versions of Mac drivers. This caused a temporary disruption for those customers and we are working with Apple to restore the drivers. In the meantime, we recommend users experiencing this problem to uninstall the HP driver and use the native AirPrint driver to print to their printer."

I needed to remove the HP printer software from my macbook pro only to relaize HP no longer supports the HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a.  I can only print with a 10 year old mac book.  Anyone have a solution?  The HP Smart for desktop app was no help either, it doesn't find the printer through wifi.  Interested if anyone has a solution or a recommendation for printers other than HP.  Thanks.

Download and install the driver from the below link and check if it helps.
