Officejet Pro 8600 Plus Drivers

When drivers were updated a ddl would install with Basic or Full new drivers.  I have tried every piece of advice but no go when printing from PC (Win10, 16 GB).  The PC sees the printer but keeps displaying "not installed". I can print a test page from printer, also scan to PC.  Is there a fix or where can I get an old driver?  Thx in advance.

Officejet 8610 driver replaced by Smart driver-NOT

Moved to a new computer and driver was replaced.

(replaced windows 10 with windows 10Pro)

The new driver will not support double sided scanning,  adding

pages to a PDF, has a smaller  range of resolution settings, has reduced paper

size options and I have problems connecting a second computer wirelessly.

Where Can I find the old driver?

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
