My HP Officejet 8710 stopped copying and scanning. Works fine printing from computer (wireless).

1. Check Scanner Connections

  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to your network or computer.
  • For network connections, verify that the Wi-Fi or wired network is functioning correctly.

2. Update Drivers and Firmware

  • Visit the HP Support page for your printer model and download the latest drivers and firmware updates.
  • Install the updates and restart your printer.

3. Restart Printer and Computer

  • Sometimes, simply restarting your printer and computer can resolve connectivity issues.

4.  Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor from the link below to quickly and automatically perform several troubleshooting tasks known to resolve this issue. 
    When this link is clicked, HP Print and Scan Doctor is downloaded using your Internet browser's download capabilities.

5. Check Scanner Settings

  • Ensure the scanner settings on your computer or scanning software are correct.

6. Inspect Scanner Hardware
