Hi all, my new Officejet pro 7220 prints correctly on A4 paper but the print on A3 is of poor quality: the lines are replaced by a series of /////////. Pict related below.
I checked the firmware version from HP Smart but it seem the latest version is installed.
This is the installed software and driver version: Full_Webpack-44.11.2778-OJ7720_Full_Webpack
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
True - you do need to have installed the Full Feature Software.
Good catch.
If you have not done so,
Check that the printer driver you intend to use is the one selected in Printer Properties AND possibly in the job configuration.
For example,
Selecting a Windows or IPP driver in Printer Properties can result in poorer print quality at this large print size (A3).
Select the HP Driver as opposed to a Windows driver.
Windows 10
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers
Right-Click on your Printer > Printer Properties
(If necessary) Change Properties
Tab Advanced
Windows 11
Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners > Select Printer >
Printer Properties > Tab Advanced
Example - Printer Properties > Advanced
9025_Printer_Properties_Advanced_Driver_List_8
Depending on the software you are using to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer,
If your drawing is in PDF format,
Check / Verify that the Driver is properly selected.
If you are using HP Smart Printing, there are two checks: Driver -- and, in More Settings -- Printer (hardware).
Smart Printing print queue / driver might -- or might not -- be the best option for printing your PDF drawing at size A3.
If this comment does not make sense, it does not likely apply to your setup.
