I need to locate the old Firmware for MFP M281fdw. The latest update that ran automatically broke printing via IP and Hostname for this device and everything else is good to go. I need to downgrade the Firmware and cannot find a number to call HP since it's out of warranty or find that FTP site that could potentially have this. Really irritated it's not listed on the support page for the product. Does anyone happen to have this information or a link to an FTP site that works that has this? Thanks so much we've been without printing on this unit for a few days since the auto update.

Thanks!     Download was successful. HP Firmware caught me by surprise and had my office at a stand-still.  Cartridges are brand new and for HP to play these games of removing old Firmware from their site had me steaming.  I even priced original cartridges and the XL would have cost over $425 with tax.

Just make sure if you run the Firmware update to 1st turn off auto-updates on the device. After the firmware installs, you'll need to reset the Cartridge Policy and Protection to "Off".

Thanks again !
