Hi

Im using the All-in-One Printer/Scanner HP Officjet Pro 8730, that normally offers a resolution of max. 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) optical. Since last year, HP does not offer support for that product anymore. So far, so (not) good.

Unfortunately HP offered a last update for that printer/scanner, before they discontinued the support. And what happend: as soon as installed, the scanner only offered the fraction of the former resolution.

First time the software was installed, I restored my system to a former date. I cant use that method again. As its not possible to choose a former driver in the device manager, Im trying to find a website where I can download an older driver for that Printer/Scanner. Unfortunately, HP only offers the useless new driver 38.9.2002 on the download page.

Anyone an idea where I can find a former version of that driver? If I cant find one, I will need to buy a new printer/scanner, and in that case for sure it wont be an HP again.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 TI
