Is there a way to get a HP PhotoSmart 6520 printer to work with only the black ink cartridge?
I have a new black ink cartridge, but I do not have the other three cartridges. So, the cartridge holder for the black ink cartridge is populated and the other three cartridge holders are empty.
I have no need to print in color.
I cannot complete the set up process. It throws an error requesting attention to the other three cartridges.
Is there any way to by pass this?

Hi @Quick_Question,
I am afraid that your printer model ink is required in all cartridges to print and to perform periodic servicing to prevent clogs and other print quality issues.
There is no way to bypass this feature.
Please replace the indicated cartridge to continue printing.
The depleted cartridges above must be replaced to resume printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
