I understand how important it feels to have the exact version you are comfortable with, especially when newer updates may not suit your setup. I appreciate the effort you’ve already made in searching for it.

 

For firmware, HP only provides the latest supported versions on its official site. Older or “original” firmware releases are not made available for download once they are replaced. The safest way forward is to use the current firmware package provided for your model.

 

Here is the official driver and firmware page for the HP Officejet Pro 8500A e‑All‑in‑One series:

From this page you can:

  • Select your operating system (Windows 10 or 11).
  • Download the latest firmware update available for your printer.
  • Install it by running the downloaded file while the printer is connected via USB or network.

 

Tip for installation:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and connected directly to your PC.
  • Do not interrupt the process once the firmware update begins.
  • After completion, restart both the printer and your computer.

 

While the original firmware cannot be provided, using the latest version ensures compatibility with Windows 11 and the HP App, and helps maintain stable performance.
