Has the issue been resolved for the output tray extender on the OfficeJet Pro 9020e? Printing multiple pages results in paper falling on the floor as the output tray won't come out far enough to capture them. I read where other people were complaining about this same issue. However, I did not see any resolution to this problem. You'd think a printer of this price would have an easy solution.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

This model is discontinued -- it is doubtful any new parts - trays or otherwise - will be made available for the printer.

 

Assuming the tray and extender are working as designed, the ultimate solution likely lies with replacing the printer with a model / brand that includes the type of tray mechanics you need.
