Product: HP Envy 5010

Hi,

I got an HP Envy 5010 printer for Xmas but as it turns out the start-up cartridges are missing. I bought new HP cartridges, bur keep getting an erroor message that I need to use the startup cartridges. Which I don't have.

How do I override this for the Envy 5010? I found some good content on youtube about using the OOBE reset, but this ia not available in the 5010 sys config menu.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

I have sent you a private message with the steps to bypass the setup ink message which is specific to your printer. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
