This question has more to do with the Driver software than with the printer itself.
At the organization I volunteer with, we have a number of Laserjet P1109 W printers. We have just upgraded our computers to Windows 10, and have upgraded our routers due to the new malware threats.
The first time I ran the "full solution" software on Windows 10, it added the software onto the C drive, and I ran it from there with no problem, adn was able to configure a printer onto the desired network with the desired address.
When I went to configure a second printer, the software would not run on the same computer (Lenovo 570 W10 64bit), unless it was to add a printer. When I selected configure a printer to print wirelessly, nothing happened.
I took another of the same model computer, ran the software for the first time, and was able to configure another printer without incident.
When I tried again to configure a third computer, using the second laptop, again the printer configuration would not run.
Has anyone else seen this; or, even better, has anyone come up with a solution?
Thanks,

Thanks Betty0610 for your very complete suggestion,
As it happens, the fix was much simpler than you described, but it apparently has something to do with Windows 10 and the HP full solution.
Unlike in W7, when I first ran the full solution all it did was unpack the program and put it on the C drive. I then had to go to the drive and run HP setup.
Based on your recommendation, what I did was have W10 uninstall the program, using the Add command. I then reinstalled the program using HP Setup on my hard drive. It then worked normally, but I then had to reinstall the printer on the computer after I set up the printer on the network.
Clearly this is a problem with the full solution and W10, but this is a viable but annoying workaround that anyone can follow.

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:
