Product: HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printer

Printer prints in duplex fine when printing from windows pc. However, when printing from an android phone, duplex does not work even after selecting Print double sided - flip long edge. 

 

Solutions I already tried:

1. I've updated the printer to the latest firmware 20201012 

2. Turned on duplex printing from printer settings (going to IP address and turning on the setting there.

3. Turned on duplex printing in default print properties > Finishing tab

4. Used the HP Smart app to print 

 

None of the above solved the problem. Duplex printing still does not work when printing via Android phone.
