Hello,

I have a PC with Windows 10 and suddenly I stopped printing via USB to the HP Color MultiJet CM1312 MFP printer, even though I had been printing to it until then. I reinstalled the printer driver pcl6-usb-x64-7.2.0.25780, but I was unable to connect the printer. I tried running the HPEasyStart_16_7_5.exe program, but it could not find the printer that was turned on via USB (the printer does not offer any other connection option). When requesting a print repair, HP Print and Scan Doctor repeatedly refers me to downloading drivers on the HP website. The program sees the scanner, but does not see the printer. I do not know what other driver it needs. To rule out possible causes of the error, I installed the driver on a laptop that also has Windows 10, and connected the laptop to the printer with the same USB cable. The printer installation went smoothly, the printer printed normally. This led me to the conclusion that the printer and USB cable are fine and the fault is somewhere in the PC. Interestingly, I can scan through the printer, but I cannot print. I tried 3 different USB ports on the PC, always with the same result. I also ran Windows Update and it reported that all drivers are up to date and OK. Please advise what could be causing the PC not to see the printer. Thank you for your answer.
