I have the HP Envy Pro 6452. Every time I try to print a PDF file it comes out in a very light gray color and sometimes blurred. I can send it to an older HP printer and the PDF file prints out perfect. This tells me the file is ok, but there must be some kind of setting on this printer that does not print the PDF file like it looks in print preview. This is a 1 year old printer, barely used, with new cartridges. The printheads have been cleaning using the diagnostic tools in the printer. I have the latest drivers installed. Please assist if you know what the issue could be or provide troubleshooting tips.

Hi,
Please print and evaluate a Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page for your printer:
https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c06543173
Can you see the same results as the example for any of the colors, or may you see any missing color or print quality problem with any of the colors?

Printed the diagnostic page. Colors are all there except there is no writing as on the example page. No Black square, no printed instructions, nothing..
I forgot to mention that Windows office files print with no problem.

Thanks for clarifying @DJ_Del1,
That indicate a print quality problem with the black cartridge, please follow below support document to troubleshoot a such:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06543527
Try completing the cleaning tasks and see if that may help, else replace the cartridge or contact the retailer to claim its warranty.

Is it a new cartridge purchased recently, or barely used cartridge over the last year? as ink cartridges will likely get clogged due to such a long period of a very minimal usage
If the cartridge been purchased or opened recently you may go back to the retailer and send the cartridge to HP for inspection to claim its warranty:
